2022 NYR - Day 3

 No meat no alcohol January - sounds very aggressive, but exciting ... and here we are, day 3, I have not miss meat or alcohol and already felt light. 

I do feel a little bit guilty about my favorite braised pork, like a sneaky betrayal. There are lots of frozen meat in 3 freezers and I am going all fresh this month. There are so many different vegetables to cook, as long as there is pepper in it, I am happy - simply pleasure!

We went in to green energy in a big way, added solar panel, exchanged to a tesla Y, I am obsessed looking at the tesla app to see how the energy is used, studied the difference between KW and KWh. I know I spent $33k to save $.11 per kwh, if my system can generate 14339 kwh as it estimated, that's 14339*$0.10511=$1,507.17 saved a year, with the tax incentive, 17 year BE, huh! Never the less, I am still excited, we are contributing to extend the earth life by 1/1,00000,00000,000 second :-D

anyway, all vege for the whole month of Jan, no alcohol, how boring and how exciting!!!!! I will see what difference it will make for  my knees, my back, my sleep, my never going away tummy!

7/30/20 Beautiful Day in Paradise

Just ordered Sadie's water bowl and food bowl. I joked with David that both of us ate from $1 a piece bowl but Sadie would be eating/drinking out of $35 bowlπŸ˜‚ we are getting Sadie ready:








I am getting anxious now and wonder how it will look like once we brought Sadie back. This would be the first dog I own from birth. 12 days and counting down. 

Today also would be my first day back to Wash after COVID-19. I have been working so hard on setting, would it pays off? 

Workout: Chest and Back + Abs + HIIT
- Standing Mid Chest Fly 12x4
- Standing Chest Press 12x4
- Push Ups on Knees 12x4
- Face Pulls 12x4
- Seated Lat Pulldown 12x4
- Seated ow (Wide Grip) 12x4

Morning coffee 8:30: Latte with milk
Breakfast 9:30: Oatmeal/1 egg/raisins/walnuts/goji berries/hemp seeds
Snacks: Protein Shake/power greens/bananas/straw berries/Chia Seeds
Lunch: 
Dinner: shake 

1st day of  VOTR grass 4x4 after COVID-19 changed all life on earth.  2020

Toast Masters 7/29/20

Second time to participate Toast Masters' club meeting. I definitely felt a lot better. Am I up for the challenge to join them?

Its my rest day today. So I finally can eat less and sit on my butt doing nothing ... just work

7/28/20 another boring day

Workout: Arms and Shoulders

Breakfast: Cottage cheese + banana smoothie
Snack: cantaloupe
Lunch: Power Greens + walnuts + 1/2 smith green apple + Dry cranberry + 1 egg Salads
Snack: Greek yogurt + blue berry + Acai
Dinner: noodle soup, tomato eggs, onion/potatoes, lamb soup
Snack: cheese cake - bad :-(

New Day New Week


I made a cheese cake last night, and then realize that I had to put it in the refrig over night before serving. But, it's Monday, my cheat day is overπŸ˜–πŸ˜–πŸ˜–πŸ˜–πŸ˜–

Because I am going to visit my parents with my sister, we were planning when we can leave the house. I was trying to think about all the things I have to do, my sister said, well, get up a little earlier, skip the workout, get your stuff done first ... haha, in my mind, working out IS MY STUFF that I have to finish before we leave, so here I am:

Legs & Abs
- warm up
- Squat: 15x3, 25x1
- Reverse Lunge: 20x4
-Forward Lunge: 20x4
Glute Bridge: 20x4 with 30lb weight
Bodyweight Calve Raises: 25x4 with 15lb weight each hand
- Ab workout for 12 minutes (youtube)

Breakfast 10:30a: Protein Shake - oat, power green, 1/2 banana, 1/2 orange, 20g protein power, rice milk and coconut milk
Lunch: veggie+chicken wings+rice
Snack: Greek Yogurt + blue berry and Acai + honey
Dinner: Rice and veggie

TGIF

I have seen 129.5 lb this morning. Last time I saw anything under 130 was 3 years ago, after I had my master cleanse.

Good Friday volleyball, I felt great, energetic, fast and strong. My set was good too. I am so looking forward to next week starting of our league play. I need to find more volleyball, I love it so much.


Breakfast: steamed egg + egg white, steamed power greens + rice soup
Snacks: cottage cheese + 1/2 banana + rice milk smoothie
Lunch: 6 shrimp dumplings
Dinner: Chinese stir fry with rice - eggplant with pork, tofu cabbage, lamb bone soup

My dad would be 94 this year and mom is 88, what's the secret? - 3

Beautiful day!

I weigh myself this morning and I saw 130.5. That's a number that I have not seen for a very long time, especially the past two days I consciously ate more then usual. When I workout this morning, I had more energy to push through and added a super set for the back exercise.

warm up
Standing Mid Chest Fly 12 x 4 (15ob dumbell)
Standing Chest Press 12 x 4 (1 plates on machine)
Push Ups on Knees 12 x 4 (last week, I couldn't do this after above 2 sets, and I was fine today)
Face Pulls 12 x 4 (2 plates on machine + 3 lb dumbell)
Seated Lat Pulldown 12 x 4 (4 plates + 3 lb dumbell)
Seated Row (wide Grip 2 plates) 12 x 4 super set with fly 10 x 4 (8 lb)

Breakfast 10:30a: oatmeal + egg + goji +raisins + walnuts, Latte
Lunch 1:30p: Salad + steamed chicken
