Rona, Plyometrics is basically "jump" training.
Of course my goal was not to jump higher, but jumping is the most effective way to get my heart going, and my legs become jello. As I was jumping, running, pushing and sweating, I was wondering why I torture myself like this? It sure is a lot easier to put on fat than take them off.
Plyometrics seems never gets easier. The thought that the first week was my easiest week piss me off. I am not sure if it is because that my body are tired or I don't eat enough carb so I don't have enough fuel. It was hard on David too today, I am not sure who did better, cough cough couMEgh. He did have to go to work after the workout, I am going to bed for a nap, so I can kick his butt again tomorrow :-) JK, honey.
I wish I have one of those machine to test out how many calories I burned and how many of them were from the fat. Since we took some time to educate ourselves about heart rate zone, I made a conscious effort to keep my heart rate in the zone, so I can burn more fat, at least in my mind, I burned more fat than sugar in my body this morning. T Harv Ecker said, you create your own reality, and what's you believe is what you get, I wonder if it applies to here? Angel, my Harv buddy, what do you think?
Nutrition:
recovering drinks: we were out of milk, so we use the fruit juice (30 carb and 1g protein per 8 oz ), in order to make it 4:1 carb to protein, we had to add some protein powder to it. I actually felt great after drinking that, as much as I dislike sugar, maybe it actually did some wonder this morning.
Breakfast: egg white omelet
snack: Greek yogurt with honey
lunch: chef salad with 3 oz tofu and 3 oz ham
snack: protein bar
dinner: tricky tricky, steamed chicken breast, veggie, and I promise, I will make some brown rice instead tonight.
