Day22: Yoga X

Recovering week!

We got up bright and early this morning to workout. This is the first day of recovering week of phase I - Yoga X. Like an old dog that can't learn, I kept thinking it as a slow day's workout, and kept being surprised by the intensity of the move. As cold as the house was this morning, both David and I were dripping. Flexibility is another major part of this workout. I am not too sure whether my mind part has been improving, I did think that I increased my flexibility immensely by doing this every week. I am still struggling with Half Moon and the Standing Splits, I am still unable to do the Crane, all of which require lots of strength, flexibility and balance. But as Tony said during the workout, Stay Present, Do your best, and forget the rest.

Nutrition:
Breakfast: I didn't feel that we need recovering drink. So we went straight to the protein shake for the breakfast. I increased the amount of berries I put in the shake, so I am well under way to my 3 servings of fruit for the day.
Snack: 8oz non fat yogurt with 2T raisin (another serving of fruit)
Lunch: chef salad (with 2oz ham, 3oz tofu and a bag of edmame)
Snack: protein bar
Dinner: Lentils and Rice (here is my serving of beans), steam chicken breast and veggie
